We love our Uncle John and Aunt Emily!

Party Chico- Part 1

We hit the road and went to Chico, where we stayed with Uncle John and Aunt Emily, and we had a big family gathering with Laura's immediate family, and the Blackmans and the Grandpa and Grandma Munson.

The boys and I were also able to connect with my good friend, Cheri, and her daughter, Olivia, for walks at Bidwell, our favorite park, early in the morning. It was chilly (60 degrees, and we haven't seen that temp in Texas in half a year!), but Landon decided he wanted to go wading in 1 mile pool!

Chester and Lake Almanor

Next we traveled to Chester and Lake Almanor and visited with our parents, and we were able to meet up with our former youth pastors for an ice cream treat at our favorite old fashioned soda fountain.

A Day At the Lake

We spent a nice day on the beach next to Lake Almanor with Gpa Bob, Glo Glo, Ya Ya, and Papa.

Last Day in Chester and Lake Almanor

On our last day visiting the grandparents, Landon got to explore Ya Ya's garden.

Then, we went out to the lake for a delicious birthday breakfast and a photo shoot with the lake back-drop.

Party Chico- part 2

We returned to Chico to hang out with friends at the Brandi home. We were able to visit with a bunch of our All Aboard Academic Daycare crew.

Swimming fun- Nicolas and Abby Anderson, Landon, and Damian.

Luis, Chloe, and Uncle John treated us to a concert- Beatles style, as Chloe's 5th birthday party that we missed this year was The Beatles theme.

It was a great way to spend my 28th birthday. Here I am preparing to blow out all 28 candles (I didn't accomplish that feat!).

Stockton

We traveled to Stockton to visit the Robinson side of the family, and this is a picture of Great-Grandpa Gordon holding Lincoln (we think there is some resemblance!)
All of the family came over to have dessert and then we had a sing along where Landon played his harmonica with Grandpa Bob on the guitar and Great-Grandpa Gordon on his harmonica.
