My dear friend, Patty and her son, Addison, came out to Texas from California for a visit this past week. We had a lot of fun taking them around to our favorite spots (the boys and I have had plenty of Round Rock donuts and Mighty Fine in the last few weeks with all of our visitors). Thanks for coming to visit, Patty and Addison!

Tball season #2
Landon started his second tball season this month, and now he is playing for the Astros. Lincoln wants to play on the team too- tonight at practice he hit the ball off the tee several times and ran the bases (he actually tried to pick up first base and run with it!). Landon has already put on some funny antics out on the field and at bat. We have a great time on the sidelines as half of the team are friends from church and the neighborhood.
The Rollema Family Comes to Texas
My dear friend and college roommate Heather came out to visit last week with her husband, Jess, and son, Kyston (who is the same age as Lincoln). Unfortunately, Heather got really sick the very first night they were here, and then Kyston got it the next day, and then Jess the next day! In spite of the sickness, we managed to take them to a few of our favorite places, and both Heather and Kyston had their first zoo experience at Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, and we went to a Round Rock Express game too. Thanks for coming to visit, Rollema fam!
Nancel comes to visit
Nancel came out for her annual Spring Break tour de Texas, and she did her tradition of drinking milk out of a chocolate bunny with the boys (something that Landon was super excited about- he did two rounds with two different bunnies!). We had fun eating at all of Nancel's favorite Texas spots like Mighty Fine, Rudy's, and Round Rock Donuts. Thanks for visiting, Nancy!

Spring is here...
Hooray for sunshine and spring! Please check out the slideshow below-we made our annual trek to the Gtown Farm Supply this past Friday to see the brightly colored Easter chicks, and the boys had a blast playing on the tractors, observing and holding the chicks (check out Landon in the slideshow below- he must have picked up twenty or more and got a real kick out of it all!), looking at the bunnies, and of course playing with all of the John Deere toys. The feed store is actually a playdate destination- who would've thought? We finished out the morning with some fun at the big wooden park and a picnic lunch with our friends. We are excited for Easter, and the Texas bluebonnets are popping up all around....our grass is getting green, and the boys have been playing out in the sandbox several times a day.
