We have had a fun summer, and over the past few weeks we had Nancy come out to visit from CA, and my cousin Hayley came out for a ballet intensive with Ballet Austin, so we were able to see her on the weekends. Landon loved having both of them here to show off all of his new skills and tricks. Nancy and I took the boys out almost every morning to some event or kid's play place, and we had two birthday parties to go to while she was out here for Landon's close friends here on our street, so we kept her busy and tried our best to wear her out. Hayley, Nancy, Lincoln and I went downtown one night to see the famous Austin bats, and we also made sure that both ladies had some yummy Texas BBQ. In other news, Lincoln has found his thumb and may just become a "thumbsucker". Landon took a pacifier, but Lincoln hasn't really wanted one yet, and really enjoys his thumb when he can find it. Landon just learned how to pedal and can do laps around our kitchen now on his little tricycle that a friend let us borrow. We are constantly amazed at how quickly he picks things up and masters them. It is such a joy to watch both boys grow.
