Landon lost his first tooth

Almost 7, and he just lost his first tooth tonight! He was quite pleased. It was very loose and Aaron just plucked it out.

Brothers in Christ

Our Easter weekend was extra special this year...Landon accepted Christ as his personal Savior! After attending the Good Friday service with us and not being allowed to take communion, he was asking questions and his friend, Henry, was concerned that Landon hadn't asked for forgiveness for his sins and for Jesus to be in charge of his life. Aaron talked with Landon a little bit, but Landon got distracted, so we let it go after the service. However, the next day, Henry basically walked Landon through the gospel and led him in the sinner's prayer (Henry's father, Bret, is quite the evangelist and has often taken his boys with him to go out in public places and share the gospel with people!). So now Henry and Landon are brothers in Christ, and it is a sweet Easter story we will always remember. Landon was recognized in Kidz Life Live (our children's church) and Henry was asked to go up on stage also and share how he led Landon to Christ.

Lincoln on the Red Wings

Lincoln had his first tball game of the season today. He is a Red Wing (not sure why the shirts are yellow!) and Brynlee Ferguson is on his team.

Here is a sneak peek of an early 3-5-7 birthday photo shoot and a 6 month maternity shoot...taken by my friend, Tomi (thanks, Tomi, for letting us be guinea pigs for you). ;-)

Padre Island National Seashore

Our beach camping adventure weekend began and ended at Snoopy's on the pier right outside of Corpus Christi.

We traveled in a caravan with other beach romping enthusiasts, including our friends the Huberts, the Blantons and the Grunows.
We were loaded down!

We travelled most of the day Friday and arrived just at sunset to set up camp at mile 35 of the 60 mile beach highway. Driving 2 feet from the waves for hours was quite an experience!

We had a great weekend at the beach. There was no cell service so we were on our own! The kids had many friends to play with and loved exploring the dunes and playing in the ocean and sand. We brought back some nice sunburns and half the beach (it feels like!).
