Top 10 Things I Respect About My Husband

10
He treats me like a princess (the photo with this post is the BOB double jogger I have wanted for years that he surprised me with last week- on Sunday, he went out early and brought back donuts and kolaches for breakfast, then got me my favorite lunch- Mighty Fine, of course, and then surprised me with this stroller- wow- and it wasn't even my birthday!)

9
He makes a lot of sacrifices so that I can be at home full-time with our children

8
He dreams big and works hard to make those dreams come true

7
He lives generously and has a huge giving heart

6
He is an amazing lover

5
He tells our boys that he loves them and he is affectionate with them

4
He is super multilingual- he knows a bunch of computer languages and has written novels of code (stuff I don't even understand- he works magic with his mad computer skillz)

3
He is good with electronics, cars, and fixing and building things

2
He is hilarious, and still makes me laugh after thirteen years of "dating" (and he still dates me every month- he is so good at asking me to go out to eat or to the movies)

1
He strives to be a better person today than he was yesterday...he has been so disciplined about working out and eating healthy, and it shows! He is probably in the best shape of his life now and he has worked hard for that. He is always learning new things and open to new ideas and adventures.

Landon and Lincoln Photo Session

Here is a slideshow of all of the boys' poses. Two and Four...wow!

Prenancy Poses

While Patty and Addison were out visiting, we went for a photo session so the boys could get their birthday pictures taken (Addison turns two in May, just like Lincoln). Here are a few shots of the boys and I- not my favorite, and I didn't get any printed, but I wanted to put them up so everyone can see my big baby girl belly at 31 weeks.

Patty and Addison's visit

My dear friend, Patty and her son, Addison, came out to Texas from California for a visit this past week. We had a lot of fun taking them around to our favorite spots (the boys and I have had plenty of Round Rock donuts and Mighty Fine in the last few weeks with all of our visitors). Thanks for coming to visit, Patty and Addison!

Tball season #2

Landon started his second tball season this month, and now he is playing for the Astros. Lincoln wants to play on the team too- tonight at practice he hit the ball off the tee several times and ran the bases (he actually tried to pick up first base and run with it!). Landon has already put on some funny antics out on the field and at bat. We have a great time on the sidelines as half of the team are friends from church and the neighborhood.

The Rollema Family Comes to Texas

My dear friend and college roommate Heather came out to visit last week with her husband, Jess, and son, Kyston (who is the same age as Lincoln). Unfortunately, Heather got really sick the very first night they were here, and then Kyston got it the next day, and then Jess the next day! In spite of the sickness, we managed to take them to a few of our favorite places, and both Heather and Kyston had their first zoo experience at Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, and we went to a Round Rock Express game too. Thanks for coming to visit, Rollema fam!

Nancel comes to visit

Nancel came out for her annual Spring Break tour de Texas, and she did her tradition of drinking milk out of a chocolate bunny with the boys (something that Landon was super excited about- he did two rounds with two different bunnies!). We had fun eating at all of Nancel's favorite Texas spots like Mighty Fine, Rudy's, and Round Rock Donuts. Thanks for visiting, Nancy!
