Halloween Poses

Here are some pictures we took in our Halloween costumes, and one of Leia in front of a background that matches her bedroom decor.

my sunflower babies

Here are my three sweet sunflower babies. My Aunt Glenda purchased this costume for Landon, knowing that it is my favorite flower, and my kitchen decor is sunflowers, and over the years for each child's first Halloween I have had a professional picture taken.

Halloween dancing

The boys having fun dancing to the costume parade tunes at the annual Ferguson "Halloweenie".

Halloween parade

Here is part of the Halloween costume parade/judging....this was the 0-4 yr old category that Leia won first place! :-)

Lando attempts macarena

Earlier this month we went to our new neighbor Emerson's birthday party at a pump it up bounce house place, and they had a fun dancing segment. Landon was really cute trying to do all the dance moves...I captured a little of the "macarena". :-)

Star Wars Halloween

We won the costume contest! All the costume drama (mostly with Lincoln!) was worth it as we took first place in the family costume contest at the Ferguson family annual "Halloweenie", and Leia also took first place in the 0-4 yr old category! Hooray!

Our Star Wars themed Halloween in honor of our princess Leia was a blast. We enjoyed hot dogs and hanging out with friends and neighbors at the Ferguson home, and then went trick or treating. Landon was quite the speed demon- racing from house to house, and toward the end Aaron said he had his candy bag around his neck to free up his hands to eat the candy on the go to optimize time! Lincoln got the hang of trick or treating rather quickly, and, just like Landon when he was two, Lincoln wanted to eat every piece of candy that was handed to him. Both boys ended up having quite a few treats- we'll see how they sleep tonight!

Happy Halloween!

Fall Festival Fun

The kiddos and I had a blast at our annual homeowners association fall festival on Saturday. We enjoyed a train ride, a hay ride (perhaps all of the kiddos first one!), pumpkin painting, sand bracelet creating, magnet coloring, bobbing for cookies, and bean bag tossing. Oh, and Landon even went on a pony ride (Lincoln turned down the pony ride- he has yet to hop on a moving animal yet!).

Pumpkin Patch Fun

Last Saturday the kiddos and I ventured with some friends to Sweet Berry Farms pumpkin patch (what a beautiful drive down 1431!). There were so many amazing picture opportunities there, but of course the kiddos did not want to pose! I could not get Leia to even look at the camera. :-) Oh well. I am happy that a few turned out good- and Landon wins the prize for being the most photogenic, although I did get one great one of Lincoln grinning from ear to ear. The boys loved climbing all over the old trucks and boats filled with pumpkins, and the kiddie corn maze was their favorite activity- Landon led the way and we found the bell at the end.

Leia laughing at landon

Here is Leia laughing at Landon after our trip to the pumpkin patch. You can tell she is a bit concerned about how loud he is and how close he is (she has suffered some head bumps and a definite lack of personal space with Landon in her life!), but I thought her laughing with the boys in the background was super cute. Enjoy!

More catch up...

And here is a slideshow of pictures from early October. Lincoln and Brynlee holding hands (oh so sweet!), Leia's first flight to CA to visit Patty and the Iliff gang, first visit to the beach (Newport Beach- gorgeous day!), and Leia sitting up. Fun times! Hard to keep up with the blogging.

Catching up...

Here is a slideshow of pictures from Grandma Glo Glo's visit, our birthday celebration meals with the Blackmans, Landon's and Lincoln's first day of Mother's Day Out, and our Thomas the Tank Engine adventure.
