Spring is here...

Hooray for sunshine and spring! Please check out the slideshow below-we made our annual trek to the Gtown Farm Supply this past Friday to see the brightly colored Easter chicks, and the boys had a blast playing on the tractors, observing and holding the chicks (check out Landon in the slideshow below- he must have picked up twenty or more and got a real kick out of it all!), looking at the bunnies, and of course playing with all of the John Deere toys. The feed store is actually a playdate destination- who would've thought? We finished out the morning with some fun at the big wooden park and a picnic lunch with our friends. We are excited for Easter, and the Texas bluebonnets are popping up all around....our grass is getting green, and the boys have been playing out in the sandbox several times a day.

Uncle John and Aunt Emily

We had a super week with John and Emily. They were kind enough to come visit for Emily's last spring break (she graduates with her nursing degree in May!!!), and we had fun taking them to all of our favorite places. We visited lots of restaurants, Cabellas, San Antonio river walk and the Alamo, and they also were here for the sonogram. Landon and Lincoln loved having their aunt and uncle here, and Landon was thrilled that John was so good at video games and beat lots of car races for him and earned new cars on a few of his games. Lincoln, of course, was happy to play basketball with his uncle and watch John do tricks with the ball. Thanks, John and Emily, we love you!

Baby Girl

Well, our daughter is a little camera shy. We've tried two attempts to get some nice in utero face shots, to no avail. Alas, but we have some nice shots of her ear and hand! And, we are just happy to finally know the sex of our baby.

Memorial Park with Rory and Colton

Today we visited Memorial Park to feed the ducks and play with our friends and neighbors, Rory, baby Payton, Kelly, Colton, and Deanna. The kiddos loved feeding the ducks and playing in the mud and water, as well as on the playground, and then we had a picnic lunch.

Fort Worth Zoo

The boys and I headed up 35 to Fort Worth this Saturday to visit my favorite neighbor from CA, who was out with her daughter to visit a friend and do a craft fair. It was great to see Lia and Maile, and Maile came with us to the zoo. We all enjoyed the train ride, the variety of animals and exhibits, and the ice cream, as you will see from the pictures.

gamers

I caught the boys in a rare "brotherly" moment a few days ago, playing their personal gaming systems on the couch.
