Landon is all about trains right now. He loves to ride on the trains in the two parks close to us, "the green train" in Zilker Park in Austin, and "Sophie train" in the Williamson County Park. My friend, Allison, and her boys let Landon borrow their Thomas trains and tracks, and Aaron purchased a Polar Express train set for Landon for Christmas, so he has been enjoying playing with those for several months now. Most recently, Aaron decided to get involved with Landon in building a model train set, so Landon is now the proud owner of a Lionel O scale set of Thomas the Tank Engine trains and cars, and Aaron found a man to build and install train shelves in Landon's room so that his model train will run around his ceiling. We are not sure where this love of trains came from (not from any of us or any family members that we know of!), but we are enjoying learning about trains all along with him and watching his excitement.
